Sherman Oaks, CA is a suburb of Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley.  Sherman Oaks covers and area from north of Ventura Blvd to the hills that sit south of Ventura Blvd, and runs all the way to the top of Mulholland Drive, which backs to Bel Air.  Homes in Sherman Oaks generally start from the mid $400’s (condos can be found from the $200’s) and can run well into the millions for luxury properties and estates. 

Aside from great restaurants and shopping that can be found in Sherman Oaks, it is also within close driving distance of Beverly Hills, LAX, downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood and beach communities of Santa Monica and Malibu.  Probably one of the things that Sherman Oaks was once known best for was being the home of the Sherman Oaks Galleria, which was made famous by the Frank Zappa song “Valley Girl” in the 1980’s, as well has having been used in filming of the movie Fast Times At Ridgemont High.
